Kurapika made me read the manga, when i heard that he become the mc.. 😂 And i'm also curious about how his ability works, why his chains are so strong when it's only 1 chain that is restricted to the spider only, which is "chain jail" I was thingking what's the condition for other chains to be that strong? is it only his eyes need to be red? that's too weak compare to chain jail condition.. 😅 Then i read the manga and find out about the cost to use the other chains the cost of using emperor time.. 💀☠

Kurapika's powers are a little more complex than that, he is not exactly 100% of all categories, he is a Conjurer, so his proficiency in this category can reach up to 100%, in Transmutation it is 80%, in Enhancement and Manipulation 60% and Emission 40%. Tensura have 70% slow world building with meeting and politics . They have 30% action / fighting . Those fights are current one piece / end of naruto shipudden / boruto / black clover / bleach / tower of god / solo leveling / dbz / one punch man / dragon ball super and guren lagan type god tier fighting moment . Only hardcore tensura fans aka who loves politics , read entire light novel and one piece / tower of god webtoon type world building story fans understand this meeting .

Before anything else, I think I have to correct one misunderstanding here. In order for the Middle Finger: Chain Jail to have such overwhelming power, Kurapika sets a rule to himself so that Chain Jail can only be used on the members of the Phantom Troupe. If he breaks this rule and uses the chain on someone else, he will lose his life. That means, only the ability who is contracted to his heart is his Chain Jail, the very fact that he can use his Thumb: Holy Chain to heal himself even though he is not part of Phantom Troupe, he can uses his Ring Finger: Dowsing Chain to find a missing person or objects, and it can also be used to determine whether someone is lying or not, among other things. And seeing from their edits on their videos with Kite having his arm chopped off, that means they already at the end or already finished the entirety of HXH, now it's not a spoiler anymore that Kurapika can put his Little Finger: Judgment Chain on other people since Killua and Gon tries to be put into the test with it. He still have his Index Finger but that ability is on the manga onwards so it is irrelevant for now. So in short, Kurapika can use Scarlet Eyes, Emperor Time and all the 4 Chains except Chain Jail when fighting a non Phantom Troupe entity.

I truly hope we get an end to the series because Kurapika is approaching what I believe could be the best fight in the series

Just because he has the restriction it doesn't mean he still can't use his full power. I believe he can't use chain jail or the technique I forgot the one that stabs the heart.

So just to clear up the confusion, Chain Jail is the only ability that is restricted for phantom troupe use only. He can still use Emperor Time against any opponent.

FRI, Every second Kurapika spends using Emperor's time he loses 1 hour oh his life. In manga he accidently lost 5 years of his life because he passed away while active Emperor's time he slept for 9 hours or so while using it. You probably wouldn't know it until Hunter comes back so worth it.
